TVLine has learned exclusively that Daytime Emmy winner Greg Rikaart — who has played reformed perp Kevin Fisher on TV’s No.
1 soap for the past 14 years — will exit the CBS sudser later this summer. Kevin has long since been redeemed, now works for the Genoa City Police and recently found out that he’s the father of on-again/off-again wife Chloe’s daughter.
Rikaart was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up on Staten Island, New York.
The post followed a heated Twitter feud between him and fellow soap star Melissa Reeves, who tweeted her support for the fast food chain.
"We both found love, both became dads and we both have more gray hair now than we did in 2003...it's hard to know where he ends and Greg begins." The 40-year-old thanked his fans and his crew and cast mates on the long-running soap opera.
"The Young & the Restless" actor Greg Rikaart apparently came out last week following the Supreme Court's overturning of the Defense of Marriage Act.
He posted a photo of himself with his beau with the inscription, “Not getting hitched at any point in the near future, but rather praising #equality this evening in any case”, in light of the 2013 United States Supreme Court rulings for same-sex marriage equality.
Rikaart and Sudduth married in Maui on May 9, 2015.
